David Alexander

President

Mr. Alexander has been advising on investing in hedge funds since 1987.  Along with Tony Peyser, he founded P&A Capital Advisors, Inc. ("Capital Advisors") in 1991 to manage funds of hedge funds and separately managed accounts (the “P&A Funds”) and their investment in portfolios of hedge funds.  He became President of P&A Fund Management, Inc. ("Fund Management”), a registered investment adviser, in 2000.  The Investment Manager acts as investment adviser or sub-adviser to the P&A Funds.  Mr. Alexander’s other business activities include founding in 1983, along with Mr. Peyser, Peyser & Alexander Management, Inc., and in 2000 P&A Business Management, Inc. which provides consulting services specializing in tax planning and business management for high income individuals and small firms.  From 1996 to 2010, Mr. Alexander was a member of the Board of Directors of Callaway Editions Inc., a privately held New York based book packager/publisher and is currently on the Board of Directors of Young Audiences New York, a nonprofit organization that brings arts programs into schools in the metropolitan New York area. From 2010 to 2018, Mr Alexander was on the Board of Directors of the Jacob Burns Film Center, a nonprofit educational and cultural institution in Pleasantville, NY. He was an attorney admitted to the bar of the State of New York but is currently retired from the practice of law.  Mr. Alexander received a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a B.A. from Wesleyan University.

Tony Peyser

Vice President

Mr. Peyser has been advising on investing in hedge funds since 1987.  Along with David Alexander, he founded the Capital Advisors in 1991 to manage the P&A Funds and their investment in portfolios of hedge funds.  He became Vice President of Fund Management in 2000.  Fund Management acts as investment adviser or sub-adviser to the P&A Funds.  Mr. Peyser’s other business activities include founding in 1983, along with Mr. Alexander, Peyser & Alexander Management, Inc., and in 2000 P&A Business Management, Inc. which provides consulting services specializing in tax planning and business management for high income individuals and small firms.  He is a certified public accountant admitted to practice in the State of New York and is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Mr. Peyser received a B.S. from Lehigh University.

David Zuckerman

Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer

David joined Capital Advisors in 2008. He helps facilitate the manager selection process, manages business operations, including compliance, and collaborates on marketing efforts. He has more than 13 years of experience working as a senior equity analyst within three different hedge funds: Weiss Peck & Greer – Farber/Weber Fund; C.E. Unterberg Towbin Advisors; and, Zander Capital Management.  Mr. Zuckerman earned a B.A. from Brown University and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.  Between attending college and law schoool, Mr. Zuckerman worked for two years at JP Morgan & Co., Inc., in the Internal Management Consulting program. 

Jack Ketover, CAIA

Director

Jack joined Capital Advisors in 2011.  He assists with all aspects of the investment process, including manager identification, ongoing due diligence and portfolio construction. He also supports the firm’s business operations. Prior to joining the firm, he was an Analyst within the Prime Brokerage group at JP Morgan Chase & Co. where he gained experience in international securities lending, risk management, client services and onboarding. Mr. Ketover is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Charter Holder. Mr. Ketover graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009 with a B.A. in economics and a minor in mathematics.

Robert Rosenbaum

Investor Relations Consultant

Robert joined Capital Advisors in 2010 and manages relations with platform representatives. Prior to joining the firm, he was Co-Director of Institutional Relationships at Altegris Investments. Prior to that, he built and headed the business development team at Tremont Group Holdings as Managing Director of the Investment Advisor Group. From 1984 1999, Mr. Rosenbaum served as a Managing Principal for a leading northeast wealth management firm. Mr Rosenbaum holds a master’s degree in Taxation from Seton Hall University and a B.A. in Accounting and Economics from Rutgers University. He has earned both the CPA and CFP certifications.

Hamish Munro

Operations Manager

Hamish joined Capital Advisors in 2003 and is responsible for operational support. Mr. Munro also supports the firm's business development and client services efforts. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in developing and supporting prime brokerage businesses at AIG International, Barclays Capital and Bankers Trust. Before relocating to New York in 1996, he worked in the Bankers Trust London Office. Educated in the UK, Mr. Munro graduated from Farnborough College of Technology.
